ACEDET 6480

ACEDET 6480 was specifically developed for washing flat glass prior to onward processing. Its main field of application is washing prior to soft-coating, printing and laminating. ACEDET 6480 does not only efficiently remove water-soluble contaminants from the glass surface but modifies the glass surface in such a way that onward processing is favourably affected.

Recommended use concentrations:

Application concentration: 5 - 10 g/l

Application temperature: 40 - 60 °C

When applying ACEDET6480 for the first time, please note that first of all the detergent cleans the washing machine. Therefore, the washing machine has to be rinsed with ACEDET6480 until it is completely clean. To our experience, this will take approx. half an hour. After disposing of the soiled detergent solution, the washing machine is rinsed thoroughly and then refilled with water. Depending on the degree of pollution and/or mechanics of the washing machine up to 4 g/l ACEDET 6480 are added then.

Handling

ACEDET 6480 is labelled in accordance with EC directives or respective national laws as “irritant”. We recommend the use of suitable protective gloves and goggles. For more safety information please see the Material Safety Data Sheet.

Storage

Stored in well closed containers at temperatures between 5 and 40 °C the minimum shelf live of ACEDET 6480 is 1 year.
