ACEPOL AL

ACEPOL AL is a polishing agent on the basis of aluminium oxide for polishing/cleaning of float glass before coating. It is used to remove strong adhering impurities as well as an initial state of glass corrosion.

Use recommendation:

ACEPOL AL is used on float glass polishing machines equipped with disc brushes or polishing disc pads. Theconcentration of the used solution depends on the degree of pollution and the used equipment and lays between 30 – 70 g/l.

Before using, the product has to be stirred up well. It is then diluted in the polishing agent tank with the corresponding amount of water. In order to prevent a sedimentation it is recommended not to stop the stirrer. However, ACEPOL AL is easily resuspended after intermittently stops.

For the following washing process we recommend use of ACEDET 6480.

Handling

Storage

Stored in well closed containers at temperatures between 5 and 40 °C the minimum shelf-life of ACEPOL AL is 1 year.
